Hello!  Thank you for visiting!  I’m Carin, as you probably already gathered… a wedding and portrait photographer based in Missoula, MT.  I’ve been shooting for a decade and graduated from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in 2021.  Since then I've been on the wild journey of running my own photography business and loving every minute of it.

I was born and raised in Northern California and studied to become a physician assistant in 2007. My life partner and I (and our beloved cat, Lucky) moved to his home state of Montana in 2013 where I started taking more and more photos; first as a hobby, then as a serious passion, and ultimately evolving into a new profession. It gives me great satisfaction working behind the camera, focusing my attention on what is beautiful in this world and capturing the love and joy that radiates from my clients. Photography keeps me away from the doldrums and immersed in creativity, beauty, and light.

You’ll find your shoot with me to be very relaxed, casual, and uplifting. Always foremost is putting you at ease in front of the camera and making sure you feel comfortable during your shoot. Second is making sure I capture beautiful images and that we have some fun together during the process.
