Your day will start with professional hair styling at Drybar, then professional makeup at Skin Chic, both right next door to each other in downtown Missoula. You'll arrive at your shoot already feeling like your very best self. From there, I'll guide you through every pose and make the whole experience feel easy, relaxed, and genuinely fun. Even if nervous at the start, most of my clients tell me it was so much easier than they imagined, and a whole lot more fun than they expected.

After your session, I'll carefully edit and retouch your images, enhancing their natural beauty while keeping them authentically you. Within three weeks, you'll receive a private, password-protected online gallery to view and download your images. Depending on your collection, your print box or album will also be designed and ordered, so you'll have something beautiful and tangible to commemorate the experience. You'll also receive a few sneak peek images within 24 hours, so you won't have to wait long to see how great your images turned out. Your day starts with professional hair styling at Drybar in downtown Missoula, where complimentary champagne will be waiting for you! Right next door, the talented team at Skin Chic will do your makeup and lashes, so you arrive at your shoot feeling like your very best self. From there, I'll guide you through every pose and keep things relaxed, fun, and easy. My goal is for you to feel as comfortable with me as you would with a close friend. Most of my clients are surprised by how quickly they settle in and start having a genuinely great time.
Your Shoot Day
Once you're booked, I'll send you a short questionnaire to help me understand your style and goals. You'll also send me a few inspiration images, which I'll use to create a custom mood board just for you! A few days before your shoot, I'll send a final prep email with everything you need to know, so you'll arrive feeling fully prepared, excited, and ready to have a great time. And I'm always happy to look at boudoir images you love if you'd like to share a Pinterest board or individual images with me before the shoot.
Planning & Personalization
After you reach out, we'll set up a phone call to discuss your vision (if you have one; if you don't that's totally fine too), answer any questions you have, and make sure you have all the information you need to make a decision. If you're curious but unsure how you'll photograph, or wondering if you'll feel comfortable in front of the camera, you're not alone. That's exactly why the first step is always a no-pressure chat, so you can decide if this feels right for you. When you're ready to book, we'll set a date and finalize the details. You never have to worry about this! I know how to create flattering images with posing and lighting. In fact, I have a huge library of boudoir poses in my head! Some clients feel more comfortable in front of the camera than others... and that's great! But if you are naturally more camera shy and reserved, don't let that hold you back from experiencing boudoir! I promise to guide you every step of the way!
I'm worried I'll feel awkward & won't know what to do
Yes!! Your session begins with professional hair styling at Drybar in downtown Missoula (complimentary champagne included!). Right next door, the talented estheticians at Skin Chic will do your makeup and lashes, creating a look that's perfectly you and that will photograph beautifully. Whether you want a look that's soft and natural, bold and dramatic, or somewhere in between, you'll walk out the door feeling renewed and confident!
Will I get hair & makeup done before my photo shoot?
Absolutely. Your privacy is something I take very seriously. Your images are delivered in a private, password-protected online gallery that only you can access. I would never share or post your boudoir photos online without your prior written permission, which is outlined in the contract all clients sign before their session. Your images are yours, and you control who may see them, including how I may or may not use them after the shoot.
Will my boudoir photos be kept private?
That's easy! Anything you feel comfortable wearing! Maybe you'll go shopping for some new lingerie, or find something you already love at home. Satin, lace, leather, a cozy oversized sweater... it all works! If you'd rather cover up a little more, a pretty robe or button-up shirt works beautifully too. I'll help with wardrobe guidance along the way and we can also discuss options during our planning call.
What should I wear to my boudoir photo shoot?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring a close female friend for extra moral support and encouragement. Having a familiar face in the room can make a big difference, especially if you're feeling anxious. Just note that it's one guest maximum, and no men or children are allowed.
